Lightbridge is currently expanding its transport cleaning operations. The Company is continuing its growth within this sector.

Providing comprehensive cleaning services for public transport companies is a key part of Lightbridge’s business, currently providing daily and MOT cleaning programmes.

The team is led by an Operations Director and two General Managers who have extensive knowledge of the sector, thus Lightbridge is able to develop a cleaning programme for the transport clients that is both cost effective but reliable delivering improved standards which are constantly monitored by a robust auditing system.



Rail Cleaning Services

The Company is an Achilles proof audited supplier with Sentinel and is an approved for work within the rail industry. Providing on-board, turn-around and overnight cleaning solutions to the train operating companies.

Currently cleaning trains for Arriva Trains Wales and recently awarded the contract for Southern Trains, the company has continued to develop new solutions with fresh ideas, helping improve the end users experience. Our team includes operatives who have undertaken Personal Track Safety courses and refreshers, our staff are registered on the NCCA database and are subject to routine drugs and alcohol testing in accordance with the Network Rail guidance.

Introducing new equipment to assist the cleaning teams in ensuring that the public get to travel on clean and tidy carriages is something in which the team at Lightbridge provide 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Often dealing with unpleasant situations the team of highly trained operatives is well equipped to deal with today’s cleaning problems, from abandoned used needles right through to body fluids the team is working constantly to ensure the trains are kept running in a clean and safe condition for the public to travel in comfort.

By introducing new reporting methods, training and improved supervision and management, Lightbridge is helping the Train Operating Companies improve Customer cleanliness scores, in turn improving passenger experiences.
